Dear Customer,

We are writing to inform you that Netbithost will officially cease all operations on October 1, 2026.

To ensure a smooth transition for your business, please review the critical details, deadlines, and required actions outlined below regarding your account and data.

Impacted Services

1. Web Hosting & cPanel Accounts

  • Termination Date: All web hosting and cPanel services will be permanently shut down on October 1, 2026.

  • Impact: After this date, you will lose access to your cPanel dashboard. Your hosted website files, databases, applications, and email accounts will become unavailable, and the data will be permanently deleted from our servers.

2. Domain Name Registrations & Renewals

  • Renewals: Effective immediately, domain renewal and new registration services are suspended.

  • Active Domains: If you have an active domain registered through us, it will remain online until its current expiration date. However, you cannot renew it through Netbithost. You must transfer your domain to a new registrar before it expires to prevent service disruption or loss of ownership.

Required Actions (What You Need to Do)
  • Migrate Your Data: You must backup and migrate all website files, databases, and emails from your cPanel to a new hosting provider on or before September 30, 2026.

  • Transfer Your Domains: We recommend initiating domain transfers to a new registrar as soon as possible to ensure seamless DNS management.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: My hosting contract extends past October 1, 2026. Will I get a refund? A: Yes. Netbithost will issue prorated refunds for any prepaid, unused services extending beyond October 1, 2026. Your account office will reach out to you to provide an account for manual transfer if required.

Q: What happens to my email history in cPanel? A: All email data stored on our servers will be permanently deleted on October 1, 2026. You must download your email archives or migrate your email mailboxes to your new provider before this date. We recommend using tools like MailStore Home or the IMAP migration tools provided by your new host.

Q: How do I transfer my domain name? A: To transfer your domain, we will generate and forward you the  EPP/Authorization code. You will provide this code to your new registrar to initiate the transfer.
